City-Wide Events Policy

That the City Council:


1.  Adopt the Resolution Number 2024-XX Adopting a City-Wide Events Policy to ensure that certain Regionally Elected Officials are invited to City-Wide Events.

National Latina Business Women Association Memorandum of Understanding – BERC Programs

  • Recommendation(s)

    That the City Council:

    1. Approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Moreno Valley and the National Latina Business Women Association-Inland Empire Institute (NLBWA-IE), allocating $3,000 to support business-related technical assistance offered through the Moreno Valley Business and Employment Resource Center (BERC).

    2. Authorize the City Manager or an Authorized Representative to execute the MOU, including future renewals, extensions, and all necessary documents, with the NLBWA-IE.

FY 23-24 SB1205 State Mandated Inspections

  • Recommendation(s)

    That the City Council:

    1. Approve Resolution No. 2024-xx, acknowledging the receive and file report regarding the state-mandated annual inspections of certain occupancies pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Sections §13145, §13146 and §17921.

Pursuant to Landowner Petitions, Annex Certain Parcels Into Community Facilities District No. 2021-01 (Parks Maintenance) (Reso No. CSD 2024-_)

  • Recommendation(s)

    That the CSD:

    1. Adopt Resolution No. CSD 2024-_, a Resolution of the Board for the Moreno Valley Community Services District of the City of Moreno Valley, California, ordering the annexation of territory to Moreno Valley Community Services District Community Facilities District No. 2021-01 (Parks Maintenance) and approving the amended maps for said District, for the specific properties as listed in the Discussion section of this staff report and as previously approved by the Landowner and certified by the City's Election Official (Amendment Nos. 196, 197, 199, 201, and 203)

Pursuant to Landowner Petitions, Annex Certain Parcels into CFD No. 2014-01 (Maintenance Services) and CFD No. 2023-01 (Public Safety Services) (Reso No. 2024-__ and Reso No. 2024-__)


Recommendation(s)


That the City Council:


1.  Acting as the legislative body of Community Facilities District No. 2014-01 (Maintenance Services), adopt Resolution No. 2024-__, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Moreno Valley, California, ordering the annexation of territory to City of Moreno Valley Community Facilities District No. 2014-01 (Maintenance Services) and approving the amended map for said District, for the specific property as listed in the Discussion section of this staff report and as previously approved by the Landowner and certified by the City’s Election Official (Amendment No. 86).


2.  Acting as the legislative body of Community Facilities District No. 2023-01 (Public Safety Services), adopt Resolution No. 2024-__, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Moreno Valley, California, ordering the annexation of territory to City of Moreno Valley Community Facilities District No. 2023-01 (Public Safety Services) and approving the amended maps for said District, for the specific properties as listed in the Discussion section of this staff report and as previously approved by the Landowner and certified by the City’s Election Official (Amendment Nos. 9 and 10).

Award Agreement for Engineering Design Services to Michael Baker International for the Gateway Park Revitalization Project (807 0062).

  • Recommendation(s)

    That the City Council:

    1. Award Agreement to Michael Baker International to provide Engineering Design for the Gateway Park Revitalization Project (No. 807 0062);

    2. Authorize the Executive Director and or its designee to execute the Agreement with Michael Baker International in the amount of $149,955.00; and

    3. Authorize the Executive Director and or its designee to execute any subsequent Amendments to the Agreement with Michael Baker International within Council approved budgeted amounts, including the authority to authorize the associated purchase orders in accordance with the terms of the Agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney.
