    1.  Adopt Resolution No. CSD 2025-___, a Resolution of the Board for the Moreno Valley Community Services District of the City of Moreno Valley, California, ordering the annexation of territory to Moreno Valley Community Services District Community Facilities No. 2021-01 (Parks Maintenance) and approving the amended maps for said District, for the specific properties as listed in the Discussion section of this staff report and as previously approved by the Landowner and certified by the City’s Election Official (Amendment Nos. 214, 217, 218, 220, 223, 225, 226 and 228)

First Amendment to the Agreement For Onsite and/or Professional Services for the Rental of Portable Restrooms

  • Recommendation(s)

    That the City Council and CSD:

    1. Approve and authorize the First amendment to the Agreement for Onsite and/or Professional Services for the Rental of Portable Restrooms (Agreement No. CSD 2021-90) (herein referred to as "First Amendment") to increase the Not to Exceed Amount of the Original Agreement from $157,160.35 to $250,000.00 (a $92,839.65 increase) to provide portable restroom facility accommodations through the end of the Original Agreement term of June 30, 2026.

    2. Authorize the City Manager/Executive Director of the Moreno Valley Community Services District (CSD), or their designee, to enter into the First Amendment on behalf of the City and CSD with the approval as to form of the First Amendment by the City Attorney.

    3. Authorize the City Manager/Executive Director of the Moreno Valley CSD and/or their designee to approve any necessary budget adjustments and/or change orders as outlined in the fiscal impact section of this staff report.

    4. Authorize a budget adjustment as set forth in the fiscal impact section of this report.

Approve Naming of New Park (Tract 38236) located on the Corner of Alessandro Boulevard and Oliver Street

    That the City Council and CSD:

    1. Approve the naming of the new park located on the corner of Alessandro Boulevard and Oliver Street.

Approval of a Professional Consultant Design Services Agreement with Willdan Engineering for Bay Avenue Sidewalk Improvements (Community Development Block Grant Fiscal Year 2024-2025) Project Number 801 0111 located along Bay Avenue between Day Street and Grant Street.

  • Recommendation(s)

    That the City Council:

    1. Approve a Professional Consultant Design Services Agreement with Willdan Engineering for engineering design and construction support for Bay Avenue Sidewalk Improvements (Community Development Block Grant Fiscal Year 2024-2025) Project Number 801 0111, located along Bay Street between Day Street and Grant Street; and

    2. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Willdan Engineering in the amount of $124,986 funded by the Community Development Block Grant Funds (Fund 2512); and

    3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Willdan Engineering for the amount of $124,986 when the agreement has been signed by all parties; and

    4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute any subsequent amendments to the Agreement for Professional Consultant Services with Willdan

Authorization to Award a Construction Contract to Cali State Paving, Inc. for the Residential Traffic Management Program, Project Number 801 0015, Fiscal Year 2024-2025, for the Installation of Speed Cushions Citywide

  • Recommendation(s)

    That the City Council:

    1. Award a construction contract to Cali State Paving, Inc. for the Residential Traffic Management and Citywide Speed Cushion Program; and

    2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Cali State Paving, Inc. In the amount of $278,512.00 funded by State Gas Tax; and

    3. Authorize the issuance of a purchase order to Cali State Paving, Inc. in the amount of $320,288.80 (bid amount plus a 15% contingency); and

    4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute any subsequent change orders to the contract with Cali State Paving, Inc. up to the budget as previously approved by City Council, subject to the approval of the City Attorney.
